2007 Fly Fishing for Beginners' Schools

Herb & Kathy Weigl will teach you how to catch trout on a fly! You will learn fly casting and stream strategies along the banks of the LeTort. Classroom sessions cover equipment selection; rigging your rod, line, and leader; knot tying; wading safety, and entomology. Tackle and a buffet lunch are included. Bring a hat, polarized sunglasses, outdoor shoes, and appropriate clothing, because classes are held rain or shine.

Enrollment Policy: Full payment is required at the time of registration. Gift certificates used to pay for classes must be received by us before your reservation can be confirmed. If you cannot attend a class, you may send a substitute in your place. No refunds, no credit issued, no exceptions. Cold Spring Anglers reserves the right to change any instructor, or to cancel any class at its discretion. Students attending the beginners’ fly fishing school receive a ten percent discount on their purchases (sale and discounted merchandise not included) at the class and for the next thirty days. You need a valid PA fishing license and trout stamp, which are available for sale at the shop.
