Report One- and 2-year old stream-bred rainbows are present in good numbers throughout the special-regulation area. A few stream-bred brook trout can be caught, too. Brook trout seem to be concentrated in and just downstream of "The Ditch". There are some larger rainbows scattered throughout the special-regulation area, but they usually stay out of sight. Browns are becoming very, very rare. Hatch Info Midges hatch year around; trout feed on the adult and larval stages. Cress (sow) bugs, shrimp (scuds), and snails are important foods for the trout. Sculpins are also present in fairly large numbers.
